We are hiring on behalf of our partner in the technology sector and are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take on the following responsibilities :
Collaborate with business, analytics, and data science teams to understand data needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Azure data services
Develop and optimize data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, etc.)
Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency through governance and validation mechanisms
Implement secure data architectures, including data privacy, anonymization, and masking practices
Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
Document data pipelines, architectures, and best practices
Stay up to date with Azure innovations and data engineering best practices
Profile required
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer, with strong exposure to Azure environments
Skills & Expertise
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or C#
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks
Solid understanding of data lake architectures and Azure storage solutions
Experience with CI/CD practices in data engineering projects
Proficiency in Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Good understanding of data modeling and data governance principles
Azure Data Engineer certification (DP-203) is a strong plus
Languages
Fluent French is mandatory
Technical English is a plus
