The Lead Data Engineer (DE Lead) plays a pivotal role in managing and fulfilling structured data requests in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards. As the primary technical authority, the DE Lead is responsible for extracting, organizing, and securely delivering accurate data, while collaborating closely with Business Analysts to ensure timely and compliant data processing. Core responsibilities include data extraction and reporting using tools such as SQL, SAP BusinessObjects, and Power BI, developing interactive dashboards, maintaining data integrity, addressing database vulnerabilities, and ensuring strict adherence to privacy standards concerning Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).

Work Experience:
8 years of overall professional experience
6+ years in data management
Preferably with direct experience in healthcare data analytics or data engineering.
Strong expertise in SQL
Proficient in Power BI
Skilled in Python
Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel
Experience with SAP BusinessObjects
Data Extraction & Reporting using SQL, SAP BusinessObjects, and Power BI
Dashboard Development: Creating interactive and insightful dashboards
Data Integrity & Security: Maintaining data accuracy and resolving database vulnerabilities
