About the Role

We are looking for a IT Analytics Engineering Specialist who enjoys transforming data into meaningful insights that drive smart business decisions. In this role, you will support multiple teams by developing interactive dashboards, improving data systems, and ensuring information is accurate, reliable, and easy to understand.

You will play a key part in streamlining how Americanflat manages data, from migrating spreadsheets to Airtable to enhancing our Power BI dashboards. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves problem-solving, values efficiency, and wants to contribute to a data-driven culture that supports informed growth and better decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the migration of main spreadsheet repositories into Airtable, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
  • Evaluate and improve existing Power BI dashboards and Airtable databases to enhance accuracy, performance, and usability.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines to automate and streamline data flow across systems.
  • Ensure that all assigned reports are accurate, updated, and aligned with business goals.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data requests and special analysis projects to support decision-making.
  • Document workflows, data structures, and reporting standards by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation across departments.
  • Support the team in testing, validating, and troubleshooting new tools or process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a corporate or analytical environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, particularly Power BI.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with Airtable (highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of Python for data cleaning, automation, or analysis tasks.
  • Understanding of JavaScript and familiarity with Git/GitHub (a plus).

What We’re Looking for in You:

  • Adaptable & Resourceful: Navigate change and prioritize effectively.
  • Multitasker: Balance multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Creative & Curious: Always seeking new, innovative solutions.
  • People-Oriented: Friendly, diplomatic, and eager to collaborate.
  • Problem-Solver: Identify challenges and create actionable solutions.
  • Proactive & Independent: Self-motivated and results-driven.
