Our partner is a leading organization in the food and grain processing industry, backed by one of the world’s largest diversified food and retail groups. As they continue to elevate their digital and data-driven capabilities, they are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer & Visualisation Specialist to join their team. This role blends deep technical expertise in data engineering with a strong sense of design and storytelling through data.
This position will work full time in our office (BGC, Taiguig City) during the probation period (6 months), and follow hybrid work setup (3 days in the office per week) after the probation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to seamlessly integrate data from diverse sources.
- Architect and implement robust data models and data warehouses to enable advanced analytics and business reporting.
- Create dynamic, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into impactful data solutions.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, integrity, and security across all data assets and platforms.
- Continuously optimize and fine-tune data workflows to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Skills, Requirements & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in data engineering, with strong command of SQL, Python, and cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipeline design, orchestration tools, and version control.
- Expertise in building data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- In-depth understanding of data architecture, data warehousing best practices, and data governance principles.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex datasets into clear, engaging narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
