About the Role: 

Ryt Bank is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our dynamic Data Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring data engineers to gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to real-world projects, and develop essential skills for a successful career in the data engineering team.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases for data engineering projects.

  • Identify and document defects, anomalies, and issues encountered during testing.

  • Work closely with business analysts to draft and refine Business Requirement Documents (BRD).

  • Ensure that BRDs accurately capture project requirements and objectives.

  • Collaborate with your supervisor to update training materials, documentation, and resources related to data engineering processes and projects.

  • Assist in data understanding and mapping exercises to ensure data integrity and quality.

  • Create documentation to support data lineage, data dictionaries, and data transformation processes.

  • Utilize your SQL skills to query and manipulate data, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any related field 

  • Curiosity for continuous learning and improvement

  • SQL and Python skills are optional but preferred for data manipulation and automation tasks.
