Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake, DBT, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate will also possess solid experience with legacy/on-premise databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
This is a hybrid role based out of Kothrud, Pune, where the candidate is expected to be available in the office at the time of joining and as and when required by the team.
Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake using DBT.
Work on data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes using modern data stack tools.
Integrate legacy systems such as Microsoft SQL Server into modern cloud-based data platforms.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all data pipelines.
Monitor and optimize performance of data workflows and cloud storage.
Strong experience with Snowflake – design, performance tuning, optimization.
Proficiency in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.
Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
Expertise in SQL and working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (on-premise/legacy systems).
Proficient in working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data architecture best practices.
Experience with data orchestration and version control (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience working in a hybrid or distributed team environment.
