Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer with extensive experience in Data Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in developing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training sessions on data engineering concepts and practical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth training sessions on data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Provide hands-on training in Python, Java, or Scala programming languages.
- Offer expert guidance on database systems and SQL.
- Train participants on big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark.
- Introduce and teach the usage of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Develop and deliver training materials, including presentations, manuals, and guides.
- Assess and evaluate the progress of trainees, providing feedback and additional resources as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and incorporate them into the training curriculum.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong understanding of database systems and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a training or teaching role is highly desirable.
