Overview

Our client is a well-known banking/financial service company and they are seeking a Senior/Manager, Data & Analytics to join their dynamic team. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and optimization of the big data platform
• Monitor CRM data and ensure its accuracy and reliability
• Implement and manage data security policies to safeguard sensitive information
• Drive process optimization to enhance data quality and cleansing
• Maintain the data warehouse and ensure its efficiency
• Develop and implement data modeling techniques to support business needs
• Utilize data-driven decision-making processes to drive business strategies
• Align data practices with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in managing and optimizing big data platforms, hands-on in data engineering and analytics, preferably working at Bank or Financial Service industries
• Solid background in implement ETI, data quality and data cleansing practices
• Experience in data modeling techniques to support business needs by using SQL, Python, Hive, Spark, Databricks
• Experience in data visualization using Tableau or other BI tools
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms, preferably Azure and Google Cloud
• Knowledge in AI or Generative AI is a plus
• Ability to leverage data-driven decision making to drive business strategies
• Familiarity with aligning data practices with regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Good command in both spoken and written in English and Chinese (Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin)
