Senior Databricks Data Engineer / Data Architect - Marketing

This is a remote position.<\/p>

Superlanet is seeking a Senior Data Engineer or Architect for our well\-known Northern California Healthcare client. This is a high\-priority, execution\-critical role supporting the organization’s transition from Health Catalyst to an enterprise Databricks platform. The Marketing Data Engineer will accelerate platform readiness, ingest marketing data, and enable committed marketing initiatives that are currently lagging due to platform constraints.This is a 8 month contract opportunity with high possibility of extension.

This role requires someone who can move fast, bridge Snowflake and Databricks, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.<\/b>

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>

• Rapidly design and implement Databricks data pipelines (Spark \/ PySpark) for marketing use cases
  <\/p><\/li>

• Bridge Snowflake and Databricks environments to enable seamless data movement and analytics
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ingest and model marketing data (CRM, campaigns, digital, attribution, engagement)
  <\/p><\/li>

• Support the handoff of in\-flight work from Health Catalyst
  <\/p><\/li>

• Partner directly with marketing stakeholders to translate needs into execution
  <\/p><\/li>

• Stabilize and secure the Databricks platform to support downstream analytics
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ensure data quality, performance, and documentation standards
  <\/p><\/li> <\/ul>

  Required Qualifications<\/b>
  <\/p>

  • 5+ years of data engineering or data architecture experience
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Hands\-on, production experience with Databricks
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong SQL and PySpark
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Experience with marketing analytics data
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Healthcare industry experience
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder\-facing skills
    <\/p><\/li> <\/ul>

    Preferred Qualifications<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Snowflake + Databricks integration experience
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Experience migrating off vendor\-managed platforms (Health Catalyst a plus)
