About the role
This Senior Data Engineer role sits within a small, high-performing team. You’ll lead client data engineering solutions from design through delivery, mentor junior engineers, and work across cloud platforms and advanced data technologies.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data pipelines and warehousing solutions
• Lead client delivery and manage key stakeholder relationships
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices
• Work with cloud-based data platforms like GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks

Skills and experience

• Strong experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Proficient in Python, SQL or Spark
• Experience with Google Cloud, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Comfortable working directly with clients
• Knowledge of visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and DevOps practices
• Bonus: experience with streaming data, big data frameworks, and data security best practices
