This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and scale a high-impact data platform supporting cutting-edge medical technologies. You will design and implement robust, automated data pipelines, improving the quality, reliability, and performance of large-scale data assets. Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data teams, you will help architect solutions that accelerate insights for healthcare providers and enhance patient care. The position requires technical leadership, a strong focus on scalability, and hands-on engineering expertise, all while driving initiatives that improve developer experience and enable high-value data products. You will contribute directly to building a modern, scalable data infrastructure that powers critical decisions and measurable outcomes in the healthcare industry.

Accountabilities:

  • Design resilient, well-modeled, and versioned data layers with clear interfaces.
  • Build and maintain automated, high-throughput data pipelines with rich instrumentation for monitoring and telemetry.
  • Identify scalability issues and optimize data platform performance.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance developer experience, create reusable data packages, and expand platform capabilities.
  • Ensure data assets are reliable, secure, and performant for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of new data products and services.



Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with significant ownership of data platform operations.
  • Strong expertise in data storage systems, cloud computing, and data modeling.
  • Experience with large-scale batch data processing (>100s of terabytes).
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, dbt, and Dagster is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain or medical data is highly desirable.
  • Eligible to work in the USA.
