This is a remote position.
For our client, a global pharma company with its IT Hub in Prague, we are looking for Senior Matillion Engineer to supports the growth of cloud-based financial analytics. An international team is building a new generation of financial analytics platforms with the aim to provide self-service analysis capabilities to power users on diverse integrated data.
You will support the delivery of the project, creating Matillion data pipelines within AWS Redshift and establish Matillion in AWS as a self-service data prep tool wider in the company.
Tasks:
- Design, build, and manage data pipelines using Matillion.
- Perform data transformation, ensuring data quality and efficiency.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet these requirements.
- Develop and maintain data models to support our analytics and business intelligence efforts.
- Work with AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Airflow) to manage and optimize data storage and processing.
- Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Apply Python scripting to automate data processes and enhance data analysis capabilities.
Requirements
Understanding of data and be able to perform data transformation in the given environment using Matillion as an ETL tool. Stakeholder engagement skills are critical for this role. Functional skills are as important as technical skills for this role.
