Hiring Data Engineer for one of our client MNC

Job Title: Data factory Specialist – Architect or lead level

Experience: 8+ Years

Contract: 6 Month+ Extendable

Location: Noida

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in managing legacy datasets, executing data cleansing tasks, and conducting query performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data engineering principles and experience with both modern and legacy data systems. 

Shift timings – Starting around 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST

Experience – 5- 8 years.

Responsibilities:

 Legacy Data Management:

·        Extract, transform(cleaning and validation), and load (ETL) data from legacy systems via python into modern data platforms.

·        Develop and maintain processes for data ingestion and integration from various legacy sources.

·        Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools

Data Cleansing:

·        Identify, analyze, and rectify data quality issues within legacy datasets.

·        Implement data cleansing techniques and best practices to enhance data accuracy and reliability.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data quality metrics and standards.

·        Candidate from insurance or underwriting

Performance Review:

·        Conduct performance reviews of SQL queries and data processing jobs to identify optimization opportunities.

·        Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to improve query performance and reduce processing times.

Prerequisites:

    Qualification – B.Tech/MCA

·         

o   Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

o  4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a focus on legacy datasets.

o   Proficiency in SQL and experience with query optimization techniques.

o   Experience with data cleansing tools and methodologies.

o   Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
