Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a background in Big Data. This position will be integrated in the IT GBCR Data Management & BI department within the CIB business unit, in the Chapter Big Data.

Qualifications

• Experience with Big Data and NoSQL Technology (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Kerberos);
• Experience with SQL (Oracle, MS SQL);
• Optimization and performance improvement experience will be  a plus (Shell Script; Execution plan);
• Knowledge in languages (Python, Spark, PySpark, Java, Scala);
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts;
• Source Code Management (Git, Azure devops );
• Analyze and test different design solutions;
• Investigate data issues and lead the steps towards their resolution;

In addition, the candidate should have:

• Previous experience as Data Analyst, Data Engineer or similar role;
• Very good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
• Good level of English (at least C1);
• Previous experience in Banking IT topics would be a plus.
