Comerit is searching for a Manager of Data Engineering and Analytics to lead our client's growing
team of data and analytics engineers. You will be responsible for defining and
managing a long -term vision and portfolio of initiatives to improve the
customer experience and business results through creating world -class data
infrastructure and enabling data -driven analytics. <\/span>This includes establishing standards and
optimizing our data engineering, data flow and data collection for cross functional
teams. <\/span>

The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data
wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground
up. <\/span>This candidate also demonstrates
skills in working with multiple business areas and can analyze their data
requirements in a harmonious way to optimize both the data landscape as well as
the analytics around it.<\/span>

The
Manager Data Engineering and Analytics will support our client's Enterprise Data
Architect and lead a team of Data Engineers and BI Analysts on data initiatives
and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout
ongoing projects. They must be self -directed and proficient at supporting the
data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products. The right candidate will
be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re -designing our company’s
reporting and analytics infrastructure to support our next generation of
products and data initiatives.<\/span><\/span>

This person will:<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>
<\/div>
- Collaborate on the
creation and maintenance of optimal data pipeline architectures
<\/span><\/li>- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re -designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
<\/span><\/li>- Work with peers to build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies
<\/span><\/li>- Lead a team to assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non -functional business requirements
<\/span><\/li>- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
<\/span><\/li>- May also be called on to perform tasks related to Data Engineering and setting up analytics environment
<\/span><\/li>- Work with stakeholders including the Executive teams to assist with data -related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
<\/span><\/li>- Keep our client's data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions
<\/span><\/li>- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
<\/span><\/li>- Analyze, validate, prioritize, and provide cost estimates for service requests and project work
<\/span><\/li>- Develop and maintain an analytics roadmap in conjunction with the overall Data Architecture roadmap
<\/span><\/li>- Work with project managers to develop project plans and manage to the plans
<\/span><\/li>- Develop and publish standards that govern the data engineering and analytics domain.
<\/span><\/li>- Establish service delivery metrics for service requests and project work.
<\/span><\/li>- Perform career management functions for the data analytics team including establishing annual goals and development plans, annual reviews, and compensation planning.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
Experience with AWS S3, Sagemaker, Step Functions and other AWS toolsets
<\/p>Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
<\/p>Experience with Boomi or other IPaaS tools
<\/p>Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) methodologies and tools
<\/p>Experience with Python or R scripting.
<\/p>Knowledge of SAP and SAP data structures preferred or similar ERP tools.<\/span>
