Lead - Data Engineer| Thane

1. Lead Data Engineer in the banking sector, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and pipelines that support critical banking functions. 
2. You will lead a team of data engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure the integrity, security, and performance of data systems across the organization.

Managerial Responsibilities:

1. Guide and mentor teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Oversee planning, execution and delivery of data engineering projects, Define & enforce best practices for data architecture, pipelines and infrastructure. 
3. Governance & Compliance: Ensure data systems comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards. 
4. Drive continuous improvement in data processing efficiency and scalability. 
5. Adhere to organization policies Process, Procedure, Compliance.

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Architect and implement robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support banking operations, analytics and reporting.
2. Manage and optimize data engineering architecture for scalability, reliability and performance. 
3. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. 
4. Lead the migration of data systems to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). 
5. Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and resolve issues proactively. 
6. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. 
7. Support Efficient Data Operations: Assist in maintaining data pipelines and performing ETL tasks, ensuring data is readily available for analysis and supporting daily business operations.

Any Graduate

Max Exp: 15 years

13+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in banking or financial services.
