What we're looking for
- An incredibly rare opportunity for brilliant data engineers to join a well-funded early-stage web3 x data startup as one of the founding members, playing a pivotal role while building AWS for blockchain data
- Highly reputed founders with blue-chip pedigree, enabling tremendous wealth creation in a short time for a pedigreed technologist
Responsibilities
- Build a high-scale data pipeline from scratch that includes real-time and historical blockchain data
- Define data models for blockchain data across different chains and protocols and maintain versioning
- Continuously monitor for throughput, data losses, and accuracy of metrics
- Expose the data pipeline as APIs for customers to define their own pipelines
- Fool-proof security across the stack - encryption, hashing, privacy, VPC, etc.
- Infrastructure as code - build terraform scripts and ensure easy replication of the infra across different regions
- Manage production deployments, logging, and monitoring
Qualifications
- A proven track record and ability to understand blockchains and smart contract data logs
- Good to have: Experience building high-scale data pipelines that do real-time and batch data ingestion and aggregation
- 3+ years of data engineering experience with cutting-edge data products
- Self-starter motivated by the opportunity to advance professionally, personally, and financially
- Strong hunter mentality
