ECI is currently seeking a Senior Lead Data Engineer / Snowflake.
Candidates are preferred to live and work in the Sacramento, CA area.
Remote work.
Duration: 12-months with optional extension
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and provide a PDF copy along with three (3) Client Signed Reference Forms - provided by the client.

Candidates must have all the following minimum mandatory qualifications:
- 10+ years in IT, which will include at least 4 years of the following:
- Relevant experience in authoring and monitoring data pipelines.
- Skills with Snowflake, ETL/ELT (dbt, AWS file systems, SES/SNS, Lambda (Boto 3), Python.
- Expertise with micro-batch data processing, near real-time ingestion.
- Expertise in data modeling (Data Vault 2, Star Schema).
- Orchestrating data enrichment specifically geocoding of addresses to latitude and longitude as part of the ELT process.
- Expertise with modern data pipeline architecture using DBT, Snowflake on a cloud platform, preferably in AWS.
- Expertise with DBT / Snowflake Incremental Refreshes and materializations, and snowflake cost optimizations on large volumes of data received hourly.
- Expertise in handling PII and other types of privileged data.
- In-depth experience and knowledge of data quality management.
