Job Description

As a key member of our small international analytics team, you’ll help implement enterprise planning using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI with planning add-ins. You will also contribute to core data engineering and analytics tasks such as data extraction, transformation, and report development.

What you will do: 

  • Be the person who is technically managing our planning solution. 
  • Design, maintain and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and dbt. 
  • Build and enhance planning/reporting models and reports in Power BI. 
  • Transform raw data into meaningful insights. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine data requirements. 
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across planning and analytics solutions. 
  • Continuously seek opportunities for innovation and improvement. 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric alternatively Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse or similar cloud-based data platforms. 
  • Strong SQL and data transformation skills. Experience in dbt is preferred. 
  • Dimensional modelling and data architectures. 
  • Interest in and strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, ETL processes, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses. 
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • BI report development in Power BI alternatively Qlik, Tableau or similar. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Structured way of working and documentation of work. 
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in data engineering
