What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from publishers, clients, and internal systems;
- Develop and optimize data models for analytics and machine learning (event streams, campaign performance, conversions);
- Ensure high data quality, reliability, and freshness across datasets;
- Collaborate with ML Engineers to prepare training datasets and production feature pipelines;
- Collaborate with Backend and Frontend developers to deliver data APIs and reporting functionality;
- Maintain and optimize data warehouse/lake infrastructure (e.g., AWS S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Postgres);
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipelines and data jobs;
- Document data flows, schemas, and business definitions.
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases;
- Hands-on experience with Python for data pipelines;
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Glue, S3, Athena);
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
It would be a plus if you have:
- Backend/API skills: Experience building REST APIs to expose processed data to applications;
- MLOps support: Familiarity with ML model lifecycle (feature stores, model deployment, monitoring);
- Streaming data: Knowledge of Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub for real-time pipelines;
- DevOps mindset: Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes for infra-as-code and deployment;
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, or similar).
