Data Engineer

Your Role and Impact

As our Data Engineer, you will dive into a sea of diverse data sources, turning them into visually appealing and compelling analytical solutions. Your responsibilities will extend from collecting and structuring complex datasets to designing innovative data pipelines. Working hand-in-hand with our dedicated teams, you'll play a key role in crafting end-to-end solutions for data products.

Responsibilities

• Establishing cloud OTAP environments on platforms like Azure, AWS, and DataBricks
• Developing analytical end products using tools such as PowerBI and Cognos
• Educating business consultants and junior developers on cloud technology usage
• Playing an active role in co-developing our Cloud proposition
• Building and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients
• Developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining data architectures
• Designing and implementing scalable ETL processes to collect and process data from various sources
• Building and maintaining large-scale data processing systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address data engineering needs
• Ensuring data privacy and security measures are implemented

What We're Looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
