Data Engineer
Quality PeopleOur client URGENTLY requires a Data Engineer for a 4 months + Contract in Canberra.
The role of Data Engineer will be responsible for developing Data Products as part of a self-organising team comprising a Product Owner, Data Modelling Lead, two other Data Engineers, Tester/Quality Assurance and Business Analyst focussed on a meta data dictionary. You will collaborate with Product Owner and Data Reference Groups to analyse and understand data requirements and develop high-quality data products aligned to standards (data governance, data architecture and security).
Skills and Experience required includes:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Experience of agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience in PySpark and with health data analysis and engineering would be highly desirable.
Government experience would be highly regarded.
