Data Engineer

Job Description

A fast-growing SaaS company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help build and scale a digital twin solution.

What you'll do

• Design and enhance a scalable data integration framework

• Integrate big data from diverse sources into a graph-based model

• Optimize pipelines for performance and growth

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, product)

• Lead integration projects and mentor junior engineers

What you bring

• Experience with data engineering in large-scale environments

• Strong coding skills (e.g. Python, SQL)

• A proactive, collaborative mindset

• Bonus: experience with supply chain or graph data models

What we're looking for

• Team player with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Curious and eager to learn, especially about new tech and business context

• Proactive and ownership-driven, taking responsibility from start to finish

• Solution-oriented, focused on solving problems—not just spotting them

• Experienced in ETL & Big Data, with 3–6 years in data engineering (ideally cloud-based)

• Tech stack: Scala, PySpark, SQL, Azure Synapse and/or Databricks

• Comfortable with modern system design, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus

• Strong client mindset and ability to build long-term relationships
