At Enroute, we partner with leading organizations to connect top technical talent with opportunities where they can make an impact. We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our analytics and reporting initiatives. You will design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and efficient data access for various stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- 5+ years of experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes, with at least one of them using Apache Airflow.
- 3+ years of experience with programming languages, with at least one of them using Python.
- 3+ years of experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (Snowflake preferred).
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and their data services.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience interfacing with REST APIs and familiarity with data lake concepts.
- Understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- English proficiency: C1 or above.
Key Responsibilities
Data Infrastructure and Pipelines
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data pipelines.
- Build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and efficient data access for various stakeholders.
Data Warehousing and ELT/ETL
- Utilize Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes to transform and load data from diverse sources.
- Apply expertise in SQL and data warehousing concepts to optimize data storage and retrieval.
Cloud Integration and Support
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and their data services to build and deploy solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and data infrastructure.
