Data Engineer

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Big Data systems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch).

Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data platforms.

Implement data ingestion and preprocessing (Hive, Pig, Impala).

Manage relational & non-relational databases.

Build cloud-based data platforms for analytics and applications.

Enhance data standards, guidelines, and operational processes.

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for data requirements.

Collaborate with development and analytics teams.



Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.

1–4 years of experience in Data Engineering/Big Data.

Familiar with ODBC, SQL, Hive, Hue.

Experience with Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Ability to design solutions from high-level architecture.
