Business Intelligence Engineer

This is a remote position.

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehousing solutions, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the data infrastructure supports their analytical needs.
  
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and transform data from multiple sources.
  
• Utilize DataStage or similar ETL tools to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses or data marts.
  
• Create and maintain data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues and improve data governance.
  
• Develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and support decision-making processes.
  
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in business intelligence, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
  
• Proficiency in DataStage or similar ETL tools for data integration and transformation.
  
• Experience in designing and developing data pipelines and workflows.
  
• Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  
• Prior experience in the gaming or entertainment industry is a plus.
