Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Data Engineering! 

In this role,  you will lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support enterprise-wide analytics and business intelligence. You will collaborate across teams to ensure robust data governance, security, and continuous improvement in data processes. 

Responsibilities 

• Analyze and organize raw data  

• Build data systems and pipelines 

• Evaluate business needs and objectives 

• Interpret trends and patterns 

• Conduct complex data analysis and report on results  

• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling 

• Build algorithms and prototypes 

• Combine raw information from different sources 

• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability 

• Identify opportunities for data acquisition 

• Develop analytical tools and programs 

• Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field 
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar technical role 
• Strong expertise in data models, mining, and segmentation techniques 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python 
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database design 
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

•Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline 
• Certifications in data engineering (e.g., IBM, Snowflake, Dataiku, Alteryx) 
•Experience with Azure Data Pipeline, Data Factory, IICS, or similar platforms
